When selecting a pH meter and pH electrode consideration must be given to:
- Media – depending on the media, Cole Parmer offers a wide range of electrodes suitable for many applications. For example whether you require pH measurement of biological samples, waster water, fruits and cheese, our application specialist can help you find a suitable pH electrode
- Media conditions – since pH values are temperature dependent, some pH applications require temperature compensation to ensure standardized pH values. Meters and controllers are available with automatic temperature compensation as well as manual temperature entries
- Environmental considerations – if space is an issue Cole-Parmer offers portable pH meters, benchtop pH meters and panel mount pH meters and controllers to fit into a variety of areas. pH meters are also available with waterproof casing if you ever require submersible pH measurement
